On September 25, 2025, the 4th Global Digital Trade Expo grandly opened at Hangzhou International Expo Center.   The "Tianmu Mountain-1" and "Tianmu Mountain-1 2.0" hydrogen-powered UAVs, jointly developed by Tianmu Mountain Laboratory and Hydroc Technology (Zhejiang) Co., Ltd. based on in-depth industry-academia-research integration, became the focus of the expo, attracting visitors from around the world to stop and communicate.

As a Zhejiang Provincial Aviation Laboratory relying on Beihang University, Tianmu Mountain Laboratory focuses on advanced aviation technology as its core research direction, while Hydroc Technology specializes in the R&D and manufacturing of hydrogen energy equipment.   Their collaborative cooperation serves as a key link for technology transformation.   This "laboratory R&D + enterprise manufacturing" industry-academia-research model not only ensures the cutting-edge nature and innovation of technology but also guarantees the industrialization capability of products, laying a solid foundation for hydrogen-powered UAVs.

As the first landmark achievement jointly launched by the two parties, "Tianmu Mountain-1" has broken through the performance limitations of traditional lithium-battery UAVs.   As the world's first 100-kilometer-class hydrogen-powered multi-rotor UAV, it adopts an integrally formed lightweight carbon fiber fuselage.   With an empty weight of 19 kg, it can achieve a maximum payload of 6 kg.   Its core advantage lies in the fully independently developed hydrogen power system — the energy density of the air-cooled fuel cell stack is 5 to 6 times that of lithium batteries, supporting ultra-long endurance and 100-kilometer beyond-visual-line-of-sight operation requirements.

Building on the technology of "Tianmu Mountain-1", the two parties have iteratively launched "Tianmu Mountain-1 2.0", achieving a disruptive breakthrough from "long-endurance flight" to "intelligent flight".   Its innovative strength won the Pioneer Award - Emerging Award at the Global Digital Trade Expo, making it a star product in the low-altitude economy field at the expo.

"Tianmu Mountain-1 2.0" is equipped with the "Xiaohang" Aviation AI Large Model and laser + visual fusion navigation technology.   Even in an environment without satellite signals, it can independently avoid obstacles and conduct collaborative operations, just like equipping the UAV with a "smart brain" and "sharp eyes".   Addressing the pain points of operation and maintenance, its pioneering "drawer-type" quick-release fuel cell module can be disassembled and assembled in 5 seconds.   Combined with the foldable arm design, it greatly improves deployment efficiency.   The upgraded built-in fuselage parachute system further strengthens the flight safety defense line, making beyond-visual-line-of-sight operations more accurate and reliable.   This series of technological innovations is the confidence behind its award and high recognition in the industry!

In terms of application scenarios, the Tianmu Mountain-1 hydrogen-powered UAV has shown broad market prospects.   In oil and gas exploration, its long-endurance capability can replace manual work for large-scale pipeline inspection;   in power inspection scenarios, the AI collaborative function can accurately identify equipment failures...   It has completed scenario-based test flights and demonstration applications in many places.
